COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

In addition to its commitment to the environment, the Company strives to support the various communities in the areas in which it operates including Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. This support includes direct and indirect financial support through sponsorships, support programs, employment and the indirect economic growth and benefits that flow from significant company expenditure in the communities in the vicinity of the Company’s operations.

As a Company, we believe that support programs and sponsorships strengthen links between the Company and the communities in which we operate. The Company is a regular contributor to schools, sporting groups, festivals, service organisations and the indigenous community.

The Company continues to make every effort to consult with all communities effected by our proposed or existing operations and this continued consultation has only served to increase the already strong links that have formed between the communities and the Company.
